Stats and Potential
The weapon potential of the Trunkul series is Solidified Unit, which offers slowly increasing damage resistance bonus as you land critical hits.
The damage resist the barrier has is remembered if you equip a weapon without Solidified Unit, and the barrier will return at its full strength when re-equipping a weapon that has Solidified Unit.
This bonus can build up fairly quickly, but there isn't a lot of content currently in the game where you would want to slowly build up a damage resist barrier compared to having an immediately large resist barrier, such as one offered by Codeck.
Drop Info
This series was introduced for the 2023 Spring event and currently does not drop, despite currently being the only weapon that has Solidified Unit and having received a recolor in the form of the Variocool series.
Other Trivia
- Despite the existence of a Trunkul Gunblade, it was not added until April 5th, 2023, after the 2023 Spring event had concluded. It was only available through promotional exchange shops, making Trunkul Gunblade the only Gunblade that cannot be a Color Variant without using the Multi-weapon system or a Weapon Camo.
- Trunkul was the last Seasonal weapon to have a unique Potential ability. Revita re-used the existing Soothing Unit, and all weapons afterwards have had a generic, shared potential.
