Stats and Potential
The weapon potential of the Obsidia series is Coruscating Unit, which offers a modest Potency boost on top of a Critical Hit rate boost. Upon landing a Critical Hit, it further provides 20% Damage Resistance and a 30% Natural PP Recovery Speed for 20 seconds. This effect's duration cannot be refreshed while active, and there's a 10 second cooldown period before you can re-activate it.

According to a Q&A with from the Development Team with Dengeki Online, they have had issue with utilising transparency in weapon models up until NGS with the release of the Obsidia series.
"We have always tried to express transparent weapon models since the release of PSO2, and I think we were able to achieve that in this Obsidia series, so please pay attention to the appearance of the weapons."
