|potdesc=applies a stackable debuff on the enemy for 90 seconds after using a Photon Blast. This debuff applies a marker to the enemy and increases damage dealt to the enemy by 1% per stack, up to a maximum of 3% if threeat least different players with a Wingard weapon hit the same target with a Photon Blast.

Each unique stack of Eruption Unit has its own timer, so if two players use their Photon Blast at the same time, then a third player uses theirs 30 seconds later, the enemy will have a 3% marker on it for 60 seconds before it rapidly decays to a 1% marker.
Further stacks refresh the duration of the debuff to 90 seconds.

As this is a debuff on the enemy rather than a buff for the player, players not using a Wingard weapon can benefit from this effect once active. Furthermore, this effect also applies to damage dealt through gimmicks such as Mobile Cannons and thrown Lava Bombs.
