Some enemies will have a title before their name or will appear with a special part as equipment, which alters their stats in some way or another.

Enemy titles

Rare enemies

Enemies titled as "Silver" or "Golden" are generic rare enemies. This doesn't affect their combat performance, but it increases the EXP you gain from defeating them as well as increases their Rare Drop Rate.

Golden

EXP+200%

Megalotix enemies

Enemies that appear in Combat Sectors starting with level 35 zones. They deal more damage and have slightly more health than normal enemies.

Elite

Golden Veteran

Still only has the title of "Veteran" despite being Golden.

Gigantix

Powerful boss enemies that appear during certain weather conditions, or as the target enemy of quests such as Aelio Devastators.

While a Gigantix that spawns is a DOLLS unit, a Starless interrupts the battle in some areas.

They're a much higher level than the enemies that appear around them, so you may need to avoid them depending on your current level and equipment.

Malevolent

Recon Gigants

Roaming packs of Malevolent enemies. They patrol specific regions of specific sectors, and appear regardless of any weather effects. Upon defeat, they quickly respawn.

Bosses that appear periodically in the ice cave within Rayjord Gorge.

Starless-type enemies that appear in the quest Halpha Environmental Testing Zone Survey will have titles that grant them extra abilities based on the day's rule set.

Altered

Used for the end boss of the exploration, and has every buff effect granted by the day's rule set.

Aberrant

Used for normal Starless enemies that appear during the exploration. While they have fewer effects than Altered enemies, they often have damage dealt bonuses.

Event enemies

Some enemies during event periods or event quests will have a title that alters their attacks.

Other titles

Some titles exist with no consistent effects other than adding modifiers to very specific enemies, or being purely cosmetic titles.

Tyrant enemies are bosses that appear in specific, controlled circumstances.
