EX Augments are divided into 4 different archetypes, being X, HP, PP, and R which provide HP & PP, HP, PP and All Down Resistance respectively. EX Augments lack an augment class, so multiple of the same archetypes are able to be affixed at once, however no more than 3 EX Augments can be affixed to a weapon.


EX Augments are obtained through weapon drops, with each weapon potentially having up to 3 EX Augments affixed to it when it drops, the [[Eredim]] series however guarantees 3 EX Augments when dropped.
